“Come on Coach, lemme go pro?”

“Once you’re pro, you can’t compete in the Olympics,” Coach reminded.

Oh, Stan, an aging amateur, was well aware. Coach had been repeating the same line since Stan barely missed out on his last bid for the Olympics.

Sometimes, Stan wondered: Whose dream is this?
